Cleveland · Gluten Free · No Fluff

Cleveland's honest
gluten‑free food list.

Finding what's actually Good & Gluten Free — one restaurant at a time.

The Mission

There are gluten-free options.
And then there are good gluten-free options.

Most "gluten-free friendly" lists will tell you a restaurant has a GF menu. That's it. That's the whole review. We think that's a pretty low bar for people whose health actually depends on getting this right.

Good or Gluten Free is for Celiacs, Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitives, and anyone who'd rather skip the stomach ache. We dig into the real stuff — dedicated fryers, separate prep surfaces, staff training — and we tell you the truth: good and safe, safe but forgettable, or just skip it.

No affiliate links. No sponsored posts. No PR meals. Just honest intel from someone who actually has to eat this way.

How we do this.

We Visit

Every review starts with a real visit — walk in, order off the menu, eat the food. No comp meals, no press previews, no "we had a lovely tasting with the chef." Just a regular customer experience, same as yours.

We Verify

We ask the questions most people are too polite to ask. Dedicated fryer? Separate prep surface? Do the servers actually know what's in the dishes? The details matter — especially when cross-contamination is the real risk.

We Report

The verdict lands in one of three buckets: Good & Safe (worth your time and your gut), Safe but Meh (won't hurt you but won't thrill you either), or Skip It (the GF option is an afterthought, and it shows).
